Box arrives! It took a week for the box to arrive from America.

Measure the fabric and mark to the correct length. Shop bought hammocks are generally 9 foot long. On You Tube people make 11 foot long ones for a more comfortable sleep but is a bit more cumbersome. Im going to make a 9 foot one so its similar to the ones I have already and so I can use a smaller tarp if I need one.
-
Cut to length. 9 foot plus 8 inches for the sewn channels.
-
Hem long sides. 1/2 inch roll hem on both long sides.
-
Sewn channels on short ends. Roll fabric over 2 inches, then again for a 4 inch cannel on each end.
-
Thread in suspension slings. Use a guide to thread in loops of cord to make the suspension slings.
-
Attach carabiner to the slings
