Sleeping in my homemade hammock on May Hill

To try out sleeping in my homemade hammock I went up May Hill on the night before May Day to watch the sun come up. The hammock was good, I slept in my latest one which is a nice wood brown colour. I slept all night only to be woken by Morris Dancers at 4.30am. The only change I would make to the hammock is adding a pocket for my phone, pocket knife and head torch. I would probably ware an extra pair of socks next time because even using an under quilt my feet got a little cold.
